IMPORT TAX / CUSTOM DUTIES

From time to time, certain custom offices may incur import taxes or custom duties on international shipment. Unfortunately we are not responsible for the additional charges from the local custom office as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.

When in doubt, drop us an email at info@comfortworks.com.au for a rough estimate or get in touch with your local customs office.

TIMEFRAME - HOW LONG UNTIL..

Standard delivery time is typically within 3 weeks from the time of order; the parcel ships out in about 2 weeks and we'll allow up to 1 week for it to show up at your doorstep.

**Note: As of now, current delivery time will be within 3-4 weeks from order confirmation date.

Rather than pushing for overtime and hiring contractors, we focus on making sure that every piece is given the time and attention required to maintain consistencies and the quality that we ourselves would be happy with.

Express delivery add-on will ensure shipment within 8-10 days from the time of order - we will also get back to you within 24 hours to confirm the availability of fabric in case Express order is not possible.

If it is a busy period however, the option will not be available on our checkout page.

We strongly suggest the use of work/office addresses, as deliveries will happen between working hours and will require a signature upon delivery.

Express delivery will incur additional $60 or equivalent in other currencies on top of the standard shipping fee.

BORING BUT IMPORTANT!

Upon delivery, please make sure that the parcel you received is NOT damaged for any reason, this will be obvious if the double corrugated packaging box and the cloth bag inside is not intact; if they are damaged, DO NOT ACCEPT the parcel and point it out to the couriers that the parcel is damaged and request for a claim on the spot. This is very important for both you and us to make sure the shipping company are liable for their mistakes.

However, if a delivery is refused due to shipping details provided incorrectly, our courier providers will return the item to us and from there, we will consider our obligation for shipment as final; any additional fee that may be incurred to fulfill the handling and reshipping of the parcel will be charged on to the recipient.

In short: Never receive the parcel if the packaging is badly damaged or torn. Work/office addresses are highly recommended so someone will always be available to receive the parcel.

I'M NOT HAPPY WITH MY PRODUCT!

We’re only human and mistakes can happen. IF your product has a manufacturing defect i.e., holes, broken zipper, tears - or if it doesn't fit, we will either:

• provide credit for alteration (up to US$75) or;
• sew a replacement set of covers for you

Simply put, we’ll bend over backwards to make sure you get what you ordered in the first place, and that's a beautifully fitted set of sofa covers.

It’ll be helpful if you could of course snap some photos and email it to info@comfortworks.com.au so we can both be on the same page.

I CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT THE FABRIC!

Due to the nature of our products being custom-made to order, we cannot accept returns due to change of mind or incorrect selection of fabric or color.

Eg. Your white fabric doesn’t match my white wall, Noooo!

This is why we suggest that you order our fabric samples first!

RETURNING A PRODUCT!

All products should ideally be returned in its original packaging and condition within 30 days of acceptance. We can understand if the original packaging has been disposed, in which case, please provide a reasonable alternative.

In the event that the goods are returned without fault on our part, a 35% restocking fee from the entire purchase price will be applicable.

Whenever in doubt, always drop us an email with some photos and get a conversation going, 99% of the time we will say, "Let me fix this up for you!".
