IMPORT TAX / CUSTOM DUTIES

From time to time, certain custom offices may incur import taxes or custom duties on international shipment. Unfortunately we are not responsible for the additional charges from the local custom office as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.

When in doubt, drop us an email at info@comfortworks.com.au for a rough estimate or get in touch with your local customs office.

TIMEFRAME - HOW LONG UNTIL..

Standard delivery time is typically within 3 weeks from the time of order; the parcel ships out in about 2 weeks and we'll allow up to 1 week for it to show up at your doorstep.

**Note: As of now, current delivery time will be within 4-5 weeks from order confirmation date.

Rather than pushing for overtime and hiring contractors, we focus on making sure that every piece is given the time and attention required to maintain consistencies and the quality that we ourselves would be happy with.

Express delivery add-on will ensure shipment within 8-10 days from the time of order - we will also get back to you within 24 hours to confirm the availability of fabric in case Express order is not possible.

If it is a busy period however, the option will not be available on our checkout page.

We strongly suggest the use of work/office addresses, as deliveries will happen between working hours and will require a signature upon delivery.

Express delivery will incur additional $60 or equivalent in other currencies on top of the standard shipping fee.

BORING BUT IMPORTANT!

Upon delivery, please make sure that the parcel you received is NOT damaged for any reason, this will be obvious if the double corrugated packaging box and the cloth bag inside is not intact; if they are damaged, DO NOT ACCEPT the parcel and point it out to the couriers that the parcel is damaged and request for a claim on the spot. This is very important for both you and us to make sure the shipping company are liable for their mistakes.

However, if a delivery is refused due to shipping details provided incorrectly, our courier providers will return the item to us and from there, we will consider our obligation for shipment as final; any additional fee that may be incurred to fulfill the handling and reshipping of the parcel will be charged on to the recipient.

In short: Never receive the parcel if the packaging is badly damaged or torn. Work/office addresses are highly recommended so someone will always be available to receive the parcel.

I'M NOT HAPPY WITH MY PRODUCT!

Hey, it happens.

You put your order in online. You wait. You practically rip the box open when it arrives, and then…it turns out that what you see just ain’t what you expected to get.

We hate it when it happens to us, so we do our best to make sure that stuff like this never happens to you.

But with that said, we’re only human and mistakes sometimes do crop up.

Which is why we’ve got measures in place to make sure you’re taken care of when they do.

They are:
-A repair credit of up to US$75.
-A replacement of your slipcover.
-A full refund upon return if a repair or replacement has been given a go but was not successful in resolving the issue.

I CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT THE FABRIC

We get it.

You thought you wanted a white slipcover.

But when it arrives, there’s something about it that makes your space look a little...off.

Regardless of whether you think that your white should now be a blue, or the white you ordered isn’t quite the white you had in mind, you can always choose to send your cover back to us for a refund, less a 30% restocking fee.

Please note that this return and refund policy does not apply to made-to-measure slipcovers.

To nip stressful slipcover situations like this in the bud before they happen, we strongly recommend that you test our fabric samples before placing your order.

RETURNING A PRODUCT

Want to make a product return?

No problem.

Email us at info@comfortworks.com.au for return instructions.

Once we’ve given you the go-ahead, we’ll get you to pack your item back into the bag and/or box it came in, in its original, unused condition, and send the package over to us within 30 days of receiving it.

Threw your box away? Just replace it with a reasonably sturdy alternative so that your item will arrive safely.

Bear in mind that you’ll need to bear the cost of shipping your item back to us, and if you’re returning a slipcover for any reason other than a mistake on our part, a 30% restocking fee will apply.

Also, please note that we don’t offer refunds for made-to-measure slipcovers unless there has been a fault made on our part.
