How it Works

A six-step process to your made-to-measure slipcover.
Step 1: Select your furniture type & preferred fabric
• Identify your furniture type.
• Select the shape of your funiture.
• Then, personalise your cover with its fabric and style
• Add to cart once done.

Step 2: Place your order
• Click the cart icon when ready to order.
• Add delivery address and payment method.
• Review order and details and hit 'Pay Now' to compete.

Tip: Double-check your confirmation email for accuracy.
Step 3: Upload your sofa photos
• Await our email with photo upload instructions.
• Provide four photos (front, side, back, cushions).
• Expect a custom measurement form within two days.

Tip: Ensure good lighting for accurate photos.
Step 4: Measure your sofa
• Prepare our Measurement Form and a measuring tape.
• Follow the provided diagram and fill in fields.
• Submit measurements once done.

Tip: If errors persist, email us for help.
Step 5: Your order gets reviewed and made
• Our team reviews your measurements.
• We may contact you for further clarification.
• Once confirmed, we start crafting your covers.

Step 6: Out for delivery
• It usually takes us about 4-5 weeks to complete your order, but if it's a complex sofa or multi-piece furniture unit, it may take a little longer.
• Once your slipcovers are made, we'll carefully inspect and pack your order.
• We'll send you the tracking details so you can keep an eye on it every step of the way.

Tip: Make sure someone's home to receive your custom made sofa covers! Our delivery times are estimates, but we promise to get them shipped as soon as possible.

Furniture we cannot do

Recliner furniture
Extendable seat and back cushions which are permanently attached to the recliner’s mechanical parts, typically overstuffed with padding that’s too challenging to slipcover.
Victorian-style chairs and sofas
Traditional-style furniture like these have tall and wide frames that are highly ornate and curved, making it impossible for our sofa covers to fit snugly and mimic its features.
Camelback sofas with Irregular Seats
The curved back resembling a camel’s hump with irregularly shaped seats and armrests make it impossible to measure. We recommend getting these locally upholstered instead.
Scooped Back with Kidney-shaped Seats
The curved backrest and kidney-shaped seats is too challenging to measure due to asymmetry and irregularity. We recommend getting these locally upholstered instead.
Recliner furniture
Extendable seat and back cushions which are permanently attached to the recliner’s mechanical parts, typically overstuffed with padding that’s too challenging to slipcover.

FAQ

Can you make custom slipcovers for my furniture?
In order to find out if a custom sofa cover set is doable, we'll need 4 photos from you first. Send us an e-mail with the following photographs and furniture details:

- One from the front,
- One from the side,
- One from the back and
- One more of just the cushions

We'll take the photos and discuss them with the team whether the construction of your couch will allow the use of a slipcover. Certain designs (e.g. La-Z-Boy recliners) are definitely not slipcoverable. When we confirm that the slipcovers can be made, we'll work on getting the quote finalised based on your slipcover design preference.
How much would a custom slipcover cost?
In terms of pricing, here are some ballpark figures below (varies depending on the fabric option):
- An armchair no wider than 127cm / 50" starts from US$409
- A 2 seater sofa no wider than 185cm / 73" starts from US$639
- A 3 seater up to 240cm / 95" wide starts from US$789

All widths are measured between the two furthest points of the sofa, mostly arm to arm. Prices are inclusive of fabrics and workmanship for the entire sofa frame, seat and back cushion covers as well as simple customisation options, such as pleated skirts and piping.
Which slipcover should I purchase for my sofa?
From our product listings, select the size (footstool, armchair, loveseat, 3-seater, etc) and shape that looks closest to your current sofa and its design. Next, select your slipcover fabric, style, seam and smart-sofa options to get your final pricing. Should you not see a customisation that you're after, we could invoice you separately for any possible extra charges incurred.

Our slipcovers are generally fully customisable from the skirt length to the seam aesthetics. If you have a photo reference you'd like us to replicate, send it over!
What kind of measurements are needed to make my custom slipcovers?

Do note that the measurements required will differ from sofa to sofa due to their many unique shapes, so the above is only a guide unless you have the same exact sofa. Otherwise, the overall process is generally the same and should you meet any difficulty - don't hesitate to email our agents for assistance, or even schedule a Zoom call! We'll do what we can to help you get that tailored set of beautiful, handmade slipcovers for your sofa.
Am I able to cancel or amend my order after payment?
To cancel or amend your order, please notify us as soon as you can via e-mail. You can amend your order within 1 business day of it being submitted but this only includes changing the size/colour/quantity of an item and changing the delivery address. Any cancellations will incur a 5% cancellation fee, and an additional 30% restocking fee if the covers have started production.

If you are looking to cancel/amend the order after it's shipped (which we should avoid), please let us know as soon as possible as this is generally quite a difficult and costly process.
What happens if these custom covers don’t fit my sofa?
This rarely happens, but if it does, it’s likely to be a very fixable measurement error.

Send us an e-mail within 60 days of receiving your order describing your fit issues, and we will be happy to see to the possibility of a repair or replacement in line with Comfort Works' Replacement Policy. We'll require some basic troubleshooting and photographs, but we'll guide you through the process!

Kindly note that it's actually quite normal to have some looseness on the covers less than 2.5cm (1in), as some natural fabrics need a bit of give for slight shrinkage after washing.
