The products featured on this website are designed and hand-crafted by the Comfort Works team. We create templates from scratch for every cover and every brand. Our beautiful and practical fabrics are selected and tested in-house, and are different from the standard textiles of the sofa manufacturers.

How we make our slipcovers

1. We triple-check your order.
Once your order comes in, we run through your sofa’s dimensions again and again (and again) to make sure you get nothing less than the perfect-fitting slipcover.

2. We draw the shape of your sofa by hand.
Every line, fold and curve that makes up your sofa ‘pattern’ is carefully stencilled with chalk onto the fabric you’ve chosen.

3. We cut out the fabric panels that fit over your sofa.
Once we’ve got the shape of your sofa drawn out, we cut the individual fabric panels out for the next step: Assembly.

4. The sewing begins.
Our ninja-level seamstresses start putting your slipcover together along with details like pleats and piping that you’ve chosen. Fun fact: A 3-seater sofa typically needs around 25 panels of fabric to ‘cover’ it.

5. Your slipcover is cleaned, checked and pressed.
Any loose or stray threads are trimmed and brushed off, hems are checked and wrinkles pressed so that all you have to do is unpack and install.

6. We get your slipcover ready for shipping.
We fold your cover, slip it into a reusable storage bag, seal your package with love, do a happy dance and have it picked up for delivery!

7. We’ve got you covered with our Perfect-Fit Guarantee.
Even after your slipcover ships out, we make sure you get nothing less than the perfect fit with a guarantee that covers you with an alteration credit or a full replacement if your cover doesn't fit as it should.
